Details of the benefits of having your surgery in Sussex

Brighton Pavillion SussexThe counties of East and West Sussex are situated in the South of England directly south of London on the coast.  The major city is Brighton and Hove with its cosmopolitan atmosphere and regency architecture.  The coast has stunning white cliffs and shingle beaches.  Just inland from Brighton are the spectacular South Downs, whose rolling green hills are full of English countryside walks and far reaching views.

Quality convalescence time can be as important as expert surgery and the fresh air and beauty of Sussex provides a comfortable and pleasant setting for its patients.  The Nuffield Brighton Hospital in Woodingdean is set in a particularly attractive area with stunning views over both the South Downs and the sea.  Both Brighton and Haywards Heath are within 30 minutes travelling time from London Gatwick International airport and central London is only an hour’s train journey away.  People who normally reside outside of Sussex are always welcome.

Royal Sussex County Hospital BrightonMr Moore performs surgical operations at four hospitals in Sussex.  He operates at the Nuffield Brighton Hospital in Woodingdean, the Spire Montefiore Hospital in Hove, the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton and the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath.

South Downs SussexIf you are seeking medical help then you are initially advised to visit your local doctor or GP (General Practitioner) first.  They will assess your symptoms and then suggest a referral to a specialist if they feel it is appropriate.  Both private and NHS patients should make sure that they let their GP know if they have a preferred surgeon that they would like to be referred to.  Your GP can then make a private or NHS referral directly to that surgeon.
